Working Together

Our friend, Dave Casey, has had some health issues over the past few months, but he's doing much better now.  He's still not 100% but he's getting there and I'll be honest, we are happy about that for two reasons:

Reason #1 - We don't like to see anybody feeling bad especially someone who is such a good friend.

Reason #2 - Mr. Casey knows how to get things done when it comes to overhauling Model A's!

Here's a list of things Roger and Dave have accomplished together over the past couple of days.

Daisy now has steering!  Woo hoo!

A steering box has been installed........I'm assuming this is necessary for the steering wheel to work.  :~)

A wiring harness.......something to do with the electrical stuff????

New exhaust manifold........I'm clueless.

A new Weber downdraft carburetor and that means more power, baby!!!  (the plastic wrap will come off later......we want to keep that thing sparkling for as long as possible!)

A new fuel line, customized for Miss Daisy.

Gotta have a fuel pump and a filter to go with that new fuel line!

No Model A is complete without using a little bailing wire on it somewhere.......just kidding!  The boys used bailing wire to install a temporary tailpipe....

And a temporary muffler so when the time comes, Daisy can be driven to the muffler shop.

I don't know about you, but I think that is a pretty impressive list of things.

We are always appreciative of Dave's help.  And, Dave, if you are reading this, we're so glad you are feeling better!!!
